To & Through College
Students begin their college preparation in their freshman year. Counselors assist students with academic planning and scheduling college visits. Through regular one-on-one meetings from 9th to 11th grades and weekly college counseling classes during their senior year, our students become confident at navigating what can be a daunting college application process.
Naviance, an online counseling program, also assists Cristo Rey students in college planning by collecting relevant data and guiding students through application procedures. Naviance also helps families search for colleges in their student’s fields of interest and chart academic performance compared to other student candidates.
During every academic year families are free to take advantage of informational meetings with a college counselor and financial aid workshops as they plan for their daughter's college path.
Cristo Rey Network University Partners
As a member of the Cristo Rey Network, our College Counselors have fostered partnerships with colleges and universities that recognize the value of a Cristo Rey education and the promise and ambition of our graduates. The program has been an important element of our graduates’ post-secondary success, providing a platform for collaboration between select colleges and universities and Cristo Rey schools and students.
