Financial Assistance

ICA Cristo Rey Academy is committed to serving young women who desire a college prep education but could not otherwise afford to attend a private high school. Families must apply for financial aid and meet eligibility requirements set forth by the Cristo Rey Network.

Finances should not prevent any student from applying. A copy of the most recent tax return (2022 or 2023), W-2 or any state/federal aid documents must be submitted. If you do not file taxes, you must submit an employment letter and any aid documents to show all income earned in the last calendar year.

If you have concerns that your family will not meet the financial requirements, please contact the admissions department directly to talk about your unique circumstances.

Tuition

ICA Cristo Rey Academy is designed to provide quality, Catholic, education to students who could not otherwise afford one.

  • We operate tuition on a sliding scale based on the family's demonstrated need.
  • All ICA Cristo Rey families are asked to contribute a designated portion towards the cost of attendance.
  • A typical family pays $1500-$1900 per year.
  • ICA Cristo Rey subsidizes the remaining cost of education for EVERY STUDENT.
  • ICA Cristo Rey's total cost of education per student is nearly $25,000.

Financial Eligibility

Because of our mission, we do evaluate family income and financial need as a criterion for admission based on Cristo Rey Network Income Standards.

  • Every applicant must submit a financial questionnaire with their application to verify income via a 3rd party.
  • Nearly 71% of our families qualify for Free or Reduced Lunch Meals.
  • We consider the high cost of living in San Francisco and aim to provide opportunities to those that may not otherwise be able to afford private school tuition.
