FAQs

What is it like to attend an all-girls high school?
The all-girls campus at ICA Cristo Rey allows for more opportunities — academic, leadership and athletic — for each student. ICA Cristo Rey students express themselves freely and thrive in the school's unique nurturing environment. The best way to see what an all-girls school is like, however, is to visit the campus.

Do I have to apply online?
Yes. ICA Cristo Rey's application for admission is paperless. While reducing waste and improving accuracy, this process is just as easy to complete as a paper application.

Are there two applications to complete through TADS?
Yes. One form is an application for admission. The second form is an application for financial eligibility and aid. Both are required from all families interested in enrolling at ICA Cristo Rey Academy.

Is there a cost to apply?
ICA Cristo Rey's application for admission is at no cost to a student and her family. There is, however, a $27 cost for the financial aid application. Please have either a credit/debit card ready or your checking account number to pay this fee when you finish this application. Please note: fee waivers are available. Please do not hesitate to contact our office for assistance if needed. ICA Cristo Rey is committed to providing access to a quality, private education regardless of a familyís ability to pay.

I am not interested in financial aid; do I still have to complete a Financial Aid application?
Yes. As part of the Cristo Rey Network, ICA Cristo Rey Academy requires all families to submit a financial aid application as part of the school application. This information not only helps us determine financial aid amounts, but also helps us determine a familyís financial eligibility for our program. All families must meet an adjustable income criteria, approximately $32,000 or less per person in the household.

I already have a TADS account; do I need to create a new login for this application?
No. There is no need to create a new account if you are already a TADS user. This same login will help you access a variety of enrollment components like applying for financial aid, registering and enrolling, etc.

I do not have access to a scanner; how can I submit my report cards and birth certificate?
All families have the option of mailing or faxing copies of their documents directly to TADS. ICA Cristo Rey can also help families scan these documents during office hours. Please call to schedule: 415-963-3202.

What does ICA look for in an applicant?
ICA Cristo Rey is looking for quality students who demonstrate the capability to handle a rigorous academic program and extracurricular activities and have the maturity to be good employees within our Corporate Work Study Program.
