Campus Ministry

At ICA Cristo Rey, our faith brings us together. We celebrate our school traditions and Holy Days of Obligation rooted in the Eucharist, and we host regular prayer services that give our community a space to pause, reflect, and unite in prayer.

Our 4-year retreat program provides opportunities for the ICA Cristo Rey community to deepen their connection with God and one another by stepping away from campus and reflecting on how God is working in their lives.

Rooted in our Dominican pillar, Service connects the ICA Cristo Rey community to the world around us. We offer a variety of ways to give back, whether on campus or out in our wider neighborhood. Our student-led Service and Leadership Team (SALT) walks alongside their peers to coordinate and champion these projects.

Campus Ministry is comprised of two leadership groups:

LIFE: LIFE stands for Living In the Faith Experience, students on the LIFE team are formed so they can share in their faith experience with the ICA community members. By attending weekly formation, these students are able to reflect on their relationship with God, grow in community with one another, discover what it means for them to be a “minister,” and serve their community on retreats. The LIFE team is committed to fostering strong Christ-centered relationships in the ICA community

SALT: SALT stands for Service and Liturgical Team, students on SALT are formed so they can serve the ICA community in various events throughout the school year. SALT works together to create mission aligned opportunities for worship and service for the ICA community.

As one community, we start and end our days in prayer. Led by our student campus ministers, we take mindful moments in the morning to center ourselves and prepare for an eventful day of learning. We close the day by saying the Dominican Blessing as a way to go forth and share our light with the world.
