ICA Cristo Rey's Principal Search Announcement

Dear ICA Cristo Rey Community,

I am excited to share with you the results of our principal search!

Our selection and interview process was rigorous and inclusive. The Interview Committee included administrative staff, faculty representatives, Dominican Sisters, and two Cristo Rey Network members. We reviewed 78 applications, conducted eight semi-finalist interviews, and hosted two all-day on-campus interviews with the finalists. The finalist candidates met with parents, students, faculty, staff, Dominican Sisters; they observed classes and provided coaching feedback to teachers; and they shared their visions for ICA.

The feedback from all of the stakeholders was clear. I am thrilled to announce that Yvonne Faisal, who has served as ICA’s principal in an interim capacity, will be ICA’s permanent principal, effective immediately. Yvonne brings a wealth of teaching and administrative experience, and strong relationships with our families, students, and ICA staff. She is excited to deepen relationships with all in the community and to continue to improve student experience and learning at ICA.

Hello All, I am humbled and honored to continue as ICA’s principal. Our mission to empower young women to live lives of faith, purpose, and service resonates deeply with me.
